National Parks

From Lake Louise to Marble Canyon to the Natural Bridge, many iconic features are easily accessible from Radium.
Kootenay National Park
Kootenay National Park hosts a plethora of hidden gems! Take a sightseeing drive down Highway 93. Stop at one of the picturesque short walks, such as Paint Pots or Marble Canyon, or head out for a longer adventure on Stanley Glacier or Floe Lake. End your day with some photos at the red rocks of Sinclair Canyon and a soak in the Hot Springs Pools.
In the winter, explore beautiful snowshoeing trails and sightseeing options.
Camping is available in summer months at Redstreak Campground, McLeod Meadows, and Marble Canyon. oTENTiks are also available for rent at Redstreak Campground.
Banff National Park
Banff National Park is a scenic 90-minute drive away from the Village of Radium. Head out for a day trip and make a loop using the Golden Triangle Route.
Banff National Park is home to many world-renowned sights, such as the famous townsite of Banff, Cave and Basin, Bow Falls, Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake.
Yoho National Park
Yoho is a hidden gem of the Mountain National Parks! Explore the large trail system of beginner to advanced trails, check out the Natural Bridge, or rent a canoe at Emerald Lake.
Taking a day trip to Yoho National Park is the perfect opportunity to drive the Golden Triangle Route from Radium Hot Springs.

Provincial Parks
Dry Gulch Provincial Park
Nestled a few minutes south of Radium lies Dry Gulch Provincial Park. Campsites are available at the park; no park pass required.
James Chabot Provincial Park
James Chabot Provincial Park is a lovely public beach situated on Lake Windermere in Invermere. Enjoy lush greenspace, playgrounds, and picnic areas.
Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park
Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park offers beautiful camping, paddling, and fishing opportunities. The park is also home to the Lussier Natural Hot Springs.
Bugaboo Provincial Park
World renowned as an elite mountaineering and climbing area, Bugaboo Provincial Park is not a park to miss! Hikers can head out for a day hike to the Conrad Kain Hut, while climbers can scale the spires of famous mountains and glaciers.
