You can still participate in your favourite fall activities and stay warm! Try these activities to experience a long fall season in the Canadian Rockies.
Take a Hike
Hiking season isn’t over yet! With a longer fall, season there’s plenty of time to hit the trails! The beautiful fall colours provide a gorgeous ambience for fall hikes. Plus, cooler temperatures means no scorching hot days on the trails! Radium Hot Springs has no shortage of beautiful hikes to try in the fall. Ride Your Bike
With the longer fall you can get in a few more beautiful bike rides before the snow flies and winter biking begins! Try Sinclair Creek Trail for a short but sweet ride. The Old Coach Trail overlooking the Columbia River Wetlands is longer, more challenging ride! Outside of the Village, try Lake Lillian Trails or head up to Invermere to do WestSide Legacy Trail. Did you know Radium is located in the Columbia Golf Trail? Well, luckily for you with a longer fall you don’t need to worry about missing golf season! Check out the Columbia Golf Trail to find the right golf course for you this fall!
Set Up Camp
With a long and mild fall, camping season is longer, too! With a variety of campgrounds in and around Radium, you are able to find a campground that is right for you. Be sure to bring warm clothes for chillier nights.
Paddle the Waterways
Paddle in the fall and experience the beautiful views but in rich fall colours! With so many different paddles from the Columbia Wetlands to Lake Lillian you will be able to do a lovely paddle. Soak in Hot Springs
Radium Hot Springs Pools is a great place to relax during the fall season. The hot springs are less busy and with the cooler weather they are much more enjoyable. If you want a more rustic hot springs check out Lussier Hot Springs. Located in White Swan Provincial Park it is an hour and a half away from Radium Hot Springs.
