Cool Down at the Splash Park
On a hot summer day, a splash park is needed. The kids (and you) will be able to have some fun while cooling down! Radium’s local splash park is located at Legends’ Field. Cool down before your next adventure, or you can make an afternoon out of it! Want to visit another splash park in the Columbia Valley? Drive to Rotary Splash Park in Invermere to continue your splash park adventure!
Challenge the Escape Rooms
The Columbia Valley Escape is a perfect adventure for a family unit. Plus, it’s a fantastic activity to use some critical thinking skills. Each room has a different theme and difficulty level, so pros or beginners will be able to take on this entertaining adventure.
Tee Up for Mini Golf
Who doesn’t like mini golf? Located at Leo’s Burrito and D’s Mini Golf, this mini golf course is the perfect place to spend a few hours with the little ones. Mexican food, gelato and mini-golf all in one is a recipe to create an unforgettable family night.
Tour the Playgrounds
Play the day away in Radium Hot Springs with two wonderful parks for the kiddos to explore! Main Street Park is great for kids that are 2-12 years old. It’s located in the town centre by Legend’s Field. Beside the playground is an outdoor gym. The other park that is great for the kiddos is Kirk Street Playground. The Kirk Street Playground is for kids that are 5-12 years old.
Soar at Valley Zipline Adventures
Fly high in Radium Hot Springs! Choose your own adventure by checking out options for the zipline tours, climbing wall, jump tower, and aerial park. Older kids will have a blast on the Zipline Tour (min. 65 lbs), and younger kids will love to explore the brand new Aerial Park, Bigfoot Kids Park, Climbing Tower, Jump Tower, and Bighorn Bounce! Make sure to make a reservation in advance to secure your spot.
Taste every flavour at Screamers Ice Cream Cafe
Ice cream on a family vacation is a must! Visit Screamers Ice Cream Cafe this season to have a cool treat (or a hot one). They have ice cream, milkshakes, baked goods, slushies and coffees, so everyone in the family will find the treat that is right for them!
Hit a Beach Playground in Invermere
Fifteen minutes away from Radium is the town of Invermere. Invermere has two fabulous beaches with parks! James Chabot Provincial Park is a great place to bring the kids. It has a fun playground and a wonderful beach that will provide lots of adventure. Or try Kinsmen Beach. It has a splash park, a playground, a rental and food kiosk and a waterslide dock! Whichever beach you choose to spend your day, you will have a blast!
Soak & Swim in Radium Hot Springs Pools
The Radium Hot Springs Pools are perfect for family units! The hot springs has a hot and cool pool. In the summer, the cold pool features two slides, one for toddlers and one for the bigger kids! The pool also has a diving board that the kiddos will love (and maybe the parents as well)!
