2019 Junior Naturalist Program
Parents, summer is just around the corner! Are you worried your kids will waste all of their time indoors? Do your kids love being outside? Than the Junior Naturalist Program is the day camp you’re looking for!
The Junior Naturalist Program is a two-hour summer day camp for children ages 6-12 that runs from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm every Friday and Saturday from July 4th to August 24th at the Redstreak Campground in Kootenay National Park – Radium Hot Springs, BC.
If your kids are always climbing trees, finding that gopher tunnel, or jumping in puddles come drop in and check out the Junior Naturalist Program.
Junior Naturalist Program Goal:
The Junior Naturalist Program has a goal to excite youth about the cultural and natural history of Kootenay National Park and the great outdoors. During the camp, each day will be filled with different activities, participants will go on explorative hikes, play interactive games and examine hands on models and artifacts. The idea of the Junior Naturalist Program is for kids to have a blast and engage with the unique environment that Kootenay National Park and the great outdoors has to offer.
