The
old Salzburg Restaurant
Welcome
to Radium Hot Springs
The
Village of Radium Hot Springs was originally called Sinclair Hot Springs for
James Sinclair who led Red River settlers through the village in 1841.
In 1920, the Dominion Government bought the springs and 587 square miles of
land. This became what is now Kootenay National Park.
First noted for its crystal clear mineral hot pools, Radium Hot Springs has
grown in response to the demand for travel locales which offer versatility,
value and ambience. This village satisfies the recreational needs of the
golfing sophisticate or sightseers as easily as those of the white water
rafter or heli-skier. |

Sandy
beaches, dependable breezes and miles of open water make nearby Lake
Windermere a heaven for swimmers, sailors and sunbathers.
A vast network of local streams and rivers offers outings for anglers
and kayakers. The parks around here are home to more than 60 species of
mammals and almost 300 species of birds.
Here in Radium, you will find great hospitality, and we, the Old
Salzburg Restaurant, invite you to an enjoyable evening with Austrian
atmosphere.
Taste our culinary delights and celebrate your stay with your whole
family.
Enjoy
your meal!
