Rocky Mountain Safaris is committed to sustainable use and enjoyment of the backcountry through many activities. Education on Leave no Trace etiquette and safety in the wild in all disciplines are also priorities for the company. We are open to listen to your goals and objectives and are able to provide support services for your hiking/backpacking, mountain biking, kayaking etc adventures. Rocky Mountain Safaris also has pre-planned packaged outtings to suit all levels and abilities. Rocky Mountain Safaris is located in the beautiful Columbia Valley and based out of Invermere, British Columbia. Close by are the headwaters of the mighty Columbia and Kootenay Rivers, amazing mountains to climb, incredible whitewater, superb mountain bike and hiking trails. Natural beauty abounds with waterfalls and panoramic views but without the crowds of Banff. Just three hours from Calgary and an hour and half from Banff, the extra little bit of travel time is well worth it.
