CV Arts is the Columbia Valley Arts Council. 2006 marked our 30th year of fostering the growth, awareness and appreciation of the arts in the Windermere/Columbia Valley. We have a diverse offering of gallery exhibitions, film series, concerts, and special events. Our goal is to have something for everyone.

Pynelogs Cultural Centre & Gift Shop

The Pynelogs Cultural Centre hosts a beautiful art gallery and also serves as a venue for a variety of arts related workshops and concerts. A gift shop featuring the works of local artists and artisans operates throughout most of the year. A very popular indoor/outdoor cafe operates for the summer months. Pynelogs is located in Invermere, next to Kinsmen Beach.

Cinefest Monthly Independent Film Series

Come and see the most talked about series in the Valley! Hosted at the historic Toby Theatre in Invermere, this monthly independent film series offers a chance to see a diverse offering of Canadian and International films and documentaries. The series runs from September through June, on select Monday evenings.

Performing Arts & Bistro Concert Series

CV Arts hosts the Performing Arts Series, with spectacular artistic performances from classical, to folk to rock and even some comedy! Concerts are hosted at both the Pynelogs cultural Centre as well as the Christ Church Trinity in Invermere. Bringing in a high caliber of artists on a regular basis, the Performing Arts Series is one of CV Arts trademark programs!
